Meet Nachelle

Hi, I’m Nachelle, and I created Roses In A Basket Cakes & Catering, LLC dba deSigns bY Nachelle for people who need more than products they need solutions, support, and someone who truly understands the many seasons of life.

My why began years ago as a young mother with little money, but a heart full of love and determination. I wanted my children to have beautiful birthdays, memorable celebrations, and special moments, even when finances were tight. So, I learned to create those things myself party décor, custom items, cakes, gifts, and keepsakes that made life feel rich even when money was limited.

What I didn’t realize then was that those small acts of love were planting the seeds for everything I do today. The creativity I used as a child making crafts with my hands became the same creativity that helped me build, provide, and grow.

Today, I’m in a new season of life as a proud wife, mother, bonus mother, and grandmother, and my purpose has only grown stronger. I understand the pressures families face, the desire to create memories, the need to stretch a budget, and the dream of building something of your own while caring for everyone else.

I’ve also been blessed to use my gifts to serve others through catering, custom creations, event planning, business support, and community giving. Over the years, I’ve helped families celebrate milestones, supported businesses with creative services, and given back through holiday giveaways, school supply drives, and helping families in need. Because success has never only been about business to me it has always been about being a blessing where I can.

I also understand resilience. Life brought health challenges that required me to slow down and focus on healing. There were seasons when I had to step back, regroup, and trust God through uncertainty. But those experiences gave me even more compassion, wisdom, and determination. Now, as I continue bouncing back, rebuilding, and walking into a fresh chapter, I’m passionate about helping others do the same in their own lives and businesses.

Fun Fact: The name Rose in Rose’s Cakes & Catering LLC was inspired by my late grandmother, whose creativity and love in the kitchen left a lasting mark on me. Watching her create with care and passion helped shape the heart behind what I do today, as well, as my beautiful mother who helped me come up with the name.
